Invitation to bid

Garrett County Community Action Committee, Inc. is accepting sealed bids for the following work at the project location known as “Valley View Apartments” 201 S. Main St. Accident, Md. 21520. Each item will need to be bid separately.
 
1. Install purlins & cover shingle roof with a Standing Seam Metal roof
2. Remove Lean to roof
3. Install scalloped siding in eave on front of building
4. Replace/ upgrade exterior lighting to LED & lower lighting to ten foot height
5. Pave parking area
6. Remove siding from areas & replace with Stucco (brick color) areas
7. Install rubber curb stops
8. Replace 3 entry doors with 36 inch doors. Frame in as needed
9. Install 3 shed style rooves over doors and 1 over first floor window windows
10. Build steps into the Flowery Vale Center where current steps are located
11. Landscaping using perennial, no/low maintenance plantings.
 
Interested contractors should attend a pre-bid meeting at the project location on Tuesday, May 6th at 10:00 am. Specifications will be available at this time. Contractor will be responsible for getting any and all permits and inspections including but not limited to State Fire Marshall, county and state, all materials to complete project, cleanup and removal of all debris off site.
