Rural IMPACT/ 2 Generation

The 2-Generation approach can be defined and implemented in a number of ways
depending upon an agency's capacity and the needs of families and communities. 
GCCAC has created a video,that details the GCCAC 2-G approach.
 The Local Management Boards of Allegany and Garrett Counties have identified a need for technical assistance
for community capacity building around a two generation approach to services
A NOFA  has been released to hire a consultant to provide training and follow-up coaching to LMB
vendors and community stakeholders in Allegany and Garrett Counties
on using Data to Guide and Improve Child and Family Outcomes.  See "FY18 Technical Assistance NOFA" above  for details

Energy Assistance Notice
Garrett County Community Action will begin accepting applications
for the new energy assistance season on July 1st
Office hours are 8:30am-5pm Monday through Friday
GCCAC staff are scheduling appointments for applications to be taken
(Appointments are encouraged to prevent long wait times)
