Family Coordinators Manager
 
Garrett County Community Action Committee, Inc. is accepting applications for Family Coordinators Manager.
 
Responsibilities for the successful applicant include but are not limited to advising Service Coordinators (Case Managers) in Best Practices for promoting family success and stability, organizing and managing ongoing professional development opportunities for Service Coordinators, meeting one-on-one with Service Coordinators each month and more often as needed, reviewing client Pathway Plans and supporting Service Coordinators in promoting client success. Prefer experience working with Service Coordinators in a fast paced atmosphere within a multi-service agency.
 
Education requirements are Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related area or demonstration of positive experience in direct human service delivery. The position requires knowledge of interactive training delivery as well as advising and managing service coordinators and providers. Must have solid understanding of barriers to success faced by our clients and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Position is full time with benefits. Criminal background check is required.

Meals On Wheels Driver - Content Support
 
Garrett County Community Action Committee, Inc. / Aging and Nutrition services is seeking a Meals on Wheels driver.
 
This content support person will deliver meals from Grantsville Senior Center. Duties for this position include loading and delivering food, delivering meals in a timely manner, and a pleasant exchange daily with meal recipients. Driver is responsible for maintaining delivery vehicle by keeping interior clean, checking fluids and tires, and delivering vehicle for regular scheduled maintenance.

Substitutes for Classroom, LunchAid/Cook, Bus Aid and Clerical – Content Support and Content Specialist III
 
Garrett County Community Action Committee, Inc. is accepting applications for substitute positions (Classroom, LunchAid/Cook, Bus Aid and Clerical - Content Support and Content Specialist III), within the Division of Child and Family Development
 
This position is responsible for working with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old in the classroom setting, preparing and serving family style meals to children and staff, safe transportation of children in an aid role to the bus driver and performing clerical duties. Substitutes are needed in all locations of the county with pay rates from $9.25 - $9.44 per hour based upon qualifications and position subbing in.
 
Minimum Qualifications include: HS Diploma or GED, must be 19 years old, completed or be willing to complete 99 clock hours in child development and the 45 hour Infant/Toddler Certification and/or the 45 hour School Age certification. One year of experience working with children a plus. Preference given to a candidate with an AA in Early Childhood Education plus experience.
 
The applicant must pass a criminal background check, possess a valid driver’s license and meet other pre-employment hiring criteria.
